AML / KYC Policy

Last updated: July 16, 2026

parcel.cash is committed to preventing the use of its Service for money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, or any other illicit activity. This policy summarises our approach and works together with the compliance programs of our underlying liquidity partners, including Husher (husher.io / husher.net), which provides the exchange infrastructure behind the Service.

1. Risk-based approach

The vast majority of swaps complete without any identity verification. parcel.cash and its partners apply a risk-based approach: transactions are screened programmatically, and additional checks are only requested where a transaction is flagged as higher-risk by automated controls.

2. Sanctions and prohibited persons

  • You may not use the Service if you are located in, or ordinarily resident in, a comprehensively sanctioned jurisdiction.
  • You may not use the Service if you appear on any applicable sanctions list or prohibited-persons list.
  • Addresses and transactions may be screened against blockchain analytics and sanctions data. Funds connected to sanctioned entities or illicit activity may be frozen or rejected by our partners.

3. When verification may apply

Where a transaction is flagged, our liquidity partner may request identity verification (KYC) or additional information about the source of funds before releasing an order. In such cases, the relevant order is handled under the partner’s compliance procedures, and settlement may be delayed until checks are complete. If verification cannot be completed, funds are returned to the refund address (fixed-rate orders) or handled per the partner’s policy.

4. Prohibited activity

Using the Service to launder proceeds of crime, finance terrorism, evade sanctions, or facilitate fraud is strictly prohibited and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

5. Cooperation with authorities

parcel.cash and its partners cooperate with lawful requests from competent authorities and may disclose information where required by applicable law.
